Saratoga Cuvée Pinot Noir 2005
Tasting Notes
Release Date: Spring 2008
The 2005 is from a small one acre vineyard high above the town of Santa Cruz; the perfect place to plant the "perfectionists" grape. The grapes were harvested late (October) fermented on natural yeasts, aged in fine Burgundian oak and bottled without any fining or filtration.
This tightly wound wine is full of promise providing raspberry, cola flavors with elegant weight and balanced. Give it a few years of age and enjoy for the next decade.
